Parque Acuático Las Cascadas
Las Cascadas is the largest water park in the Caribbean area. It has plenty of entertainment for you and the kids such as the Crazy River rapids ride, lots of huge water slides, wave pools, and even a skate park if you get tired of water games.
The former Ramey Air Force Base
Ramsey Air Force base is now the Rafael Hernandez Airport, but once upon a time it was a military base. Now, it is one of the most active commercial airports and could be the one that you fly into if you visit this island town. Its runway is 11,701 feet long and is now owned by the Puerto Rico Ports Authority.
Punta Borinquen Golf Course
Designed by Pete Dye, the Punta Borinquen Golf Course was originally built for US Air Force golf fans who were stationed at the above base, but now you too can play golf here. One of the famous people that once played here was General and former US President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
Punta Borinquen Lighthouse
Built in 1889, this lighthouse has a rich history and so it was preserved and then deemed as one of the country’s monuments to put on the National Register of Historic Places.
Aguadilla Ice Skating Arena
This is the only ice skating arena in the Caribbean area. You can find it at the Plaza Plácido Acevedo, Carr and it is open every day for your pleasure.
Crash Boat Beach
This is one of the best surf beaches on the island and if you love surfing you need to come here to do it.
